I am a little reluctant to use online MSDN since the info it contains may
well be bang up to date, or nearly, but that may rely on patches applied; I
would prefer to use documentation that comes with libraries, so that we can
be sure they're a matched pair. OK, I know it's hard to maintain that
coupling with Windows updates being applied all over the place, but I'd
still like to try {:v)
