It's been a while since I looked
into it, but IIRC - "yes". It'd be odd for m$'s flagship web server to not use
thier own fastest IO mechanism.
Whenever I debugged my ISAPI I
remember seeing a lot more than just 2 threads per CPU. There are probably a
number of threads queued up for connections, some worker threads, and then a
couple extra threads to help overload the system and make it run
slower.
