what OS on the server? under your share check for user limit settings. If
you disconnect 1 user can you add another? For instance you have 4 users
connected to the share and the next computer won't map, if you take one of
the connections off, see if the one that can't connect will work.

What OS is the workstation?  I've seen this on Win95 whereby some idiotic
CD-ROM driver wrote last drive = h in config.sys (?) or one of them startup
files, and no network drives that wanted a letter past h could connect.
