Does anyone know a way of allowing a user account (or group) to stop and
start a particular service?
I've looked at Power Users which allow stopping/starting of ALL services,
but also would allow other things like share creation (unless we
specifically took that out)
There's an option of loading/unloading Device drivers but I cannot find the
equivalent for services.

The reason for this question might help some other method come to mind...
We have a request for our DBA's to be able to stop and start the SQL
services on a particular server without needing to grab an NT Admin.
If this is going to go ahead, I'd like to be able to restrict the abilities
to a minimum so we don't get flooded with support calls as a result of them
accidentally 'breaking' something. Thus, my choice would to allow
restarting of the SQL services ONLY.

Ideas anyone?

Dave
