There is a registry key 'SendOnNonDnsPort' found on or added under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DNS\Parameters

Adding a port number in the unprivileged port range will give you
A fixed UDP query source port.

Good luck,

Subject: DNS query

Hello Folks,

Is it possible to force an NT 4.0 Server to always perform a DNS query
from the same UDP port each time it performs a query instead of using a
random port?

Thanks

Anthony
