Depends on how you define better. The TI99-4A had better hardware but TI had no clue how to market it so the support wasn't there. Hell I'd love to have a Ferrari but if there's only one type of gas for it, only found in Milan Italy, what good is it? I'd rather have a Trans-Am which I can fill up at any corner gas station.

Someone thought maybe giving Microsoft NT to Afghanistan would be a good form of Cyber Warfare. We diverted all the way back to the days of glory when DOS reigned supreme. Somebody brought numerology into the picture and exposed Microsoft's connection with Miss Cleo and service packs. And now we are all waxing poetic about the old days of 5 1/4 " floppies and Chicklet keyboards.
