So now the most "in" on this list is to tell about one's personal MSX story?
Ok then, it seems funny; here is my story! ;-)

This poor boy who was born in 1974 asked at the end of 1985 for a personal
computer as Xmas gift (because all my classmates had one!) X-). By hazard,
it was a Canon V20. One year later, the legend of Konami Man starts: the
Xmas gift was "a shooting game"; again by hazard, it was Nemesis! 8-D I
became a shooting games addict from then.

In 1989 I was quite disconnected from the MSX scene, when I bought a MSX
magazine (because Nemesis 3 was commented in it) ;-) and I found an
interisting new: a new computer named MSX2+ was released in Japan. I became
really interested on this computer, and finally I got one in 1991. Finally I
had a computer with disk drive! It was like a dream!! ;-D And what a
surprise: soon after I discovered more people interested on MSX in Spain, I
was not the only one! X-)

Slowly I became a more active user: in 1993 I learn assembler programming
and go to my first MSX users meeting, in 1995 I make my first musics (sounds
quite horrible nowadays) (--!), and approximately at the same time I buy a
SCSI interface and become one of the first DOS2 enthousiasts. ;-)

Time passes, internet enters in our lifes, and in 1997 I meet Kyoko, a
japanese girl, in a penpals list. I explain to her what is a strange thing
named "MSX Turbo R" and at the end of that year, she finds a second-hand one
quite cheap. So after six years waiting, I finally become a Turbo-R user!
(And by the way, nowadays Kyoko is my girlfriend...) ;-D

Nowadays I'm a crazy guy interested in nonsenses like NestorBASIC, FAT16 and
such things, having this equipment:

MSX Turbo-R ST & MSX2+ Sanyo & MSX2 Philips 8245
External RAM mapper of 4Mb
CIEL slot expander
MoonSound
Music Module
MegaSCSI
Internal ZIP drive
CD-ROM drive (I bought it one week ago!) ;-)
NestorCartridge (yes, a ROM cartridge with a own program!) X-)
6 x SCC (I don't lose the hope of having a original SD-Snatcher some day!)

...and that's all folks! Maybe this mailing list will become a story book,
but hey, it will be useful for future archeologists! X-D

Just a comment about new hardware: I'm really happy with my moonsound, but I
don't intend to buy a GFX9000 at all. Why? Apart from a demo of Xtazy and a
BMP viewer, I haven't see ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING for this graphic card! Where
are the games for GFX9000? Where are the utilities for WIOS? What happens??

                Test NestorBASIC!!

A PlayStation machine is actually a MSX without keyboard.
In fact, PSX = "Partial mSX"
