> Well... Start doing another insane or cool assembly program! :)

Hey, last time I forgetted to tell you about my most grazy assembler
project for MSX2 :
a 3D car driveing game !!!
Features :
- over 16 million colors
- 50 frames/second
- Most realistic graphics, that have been seen in any computer car driveing
game in any computer !
- nice FM-PAC musics
Ok, this moment you think, that I'm not talking about MSX2 or you just
othervise don't belive me, but you are wrong...
The point is anyway, that this is not for any MSX2 user, because system
requirements are quite a high ! Anyway I belive, that someone in this
world allready has this kind of hardware connected.
Now I think, that it is time to tell about this project some more, because
otherwise you guys are going to get nuts !!! :-)
This game is ment to be done for Sony HB-G900P MSX2 computer with 64Kb RAM,
HBI-G900P Videotizer, HBU-G900P Interactive Video interface and UMATIC video.
Basic idea is to go on the road to take some road driveing pictures to the
video, then run that video several times trough Genlocker to get all the
coordinates of left and right side of road and ofcource gravity forces by
using mouse. After that we have to convert them to black and white coded
binary numbers and copy that video from cassette to another casette adding
these numbers to few bottom lines. Before this we have to add begining demo
video and others ofcource.
The final game will then show demo video, display logo and rewerse casette
back to start of demo and show it again if fire-button was not pressed.
If fire was pressed during a demo or while logo was in screen, it will find
a start of road-video and start to display it so, that it will go trough
Genlocker and MSX will add car to that screen. Then lineinterrupt is used
to switch digitizer on for few bottom lines so, that we can read those
coordinates and gravity forces. Maybe we can switch screen off for these
few lines, I don't know... If car was crashed, then it will display a
"GAME OVER" text and find a peace of video, where is a nice crash part.
Now, when I know a little bit more about proggramming a HBU-G900P it is
maybe not nessessary to use videotizer, but then we have to load all
MSX graphics from disk, and we can not just simply stop the picture and
make some nice fade effects, when we need to search another place from
video. BTW All the time video sounds will be mixed to nice FM-PAC musics,
that I have made. ;-)
Anyway if you think, that this idea is not totaly grazy, then what is ???
This project is now freezed, because we don't have two UMATIC videos, but
who knows from future ? I have allready made some crappy Data read / write
routines for video, car moveing routines and some other little routines.
Anyway if I'm ever going to make this to come true, it will not be
availabble in my homepage :-)
