Time ago, I´m reading messages about problems with map.com and FS-A1WX
...
Well ... MAP.COM works fine ... the problem is this MSX-2+ ...
In Spain, have any FS-A1WX with internal memory mapper, and Dos 2 with
MAP.COM works fine ... but if this MSX-2+ does not expanded with
internal mapper and use external memory mapper, crash with map.com.
The problem is this :
The Bios of all Panasonic MSX, does not support external mapper ... well
.. support this mapper but the MAIN memory is ALWAYS the internal 64 K
... this is the problem.
In Turbo R machines, the problem is same ... If you use a expanded
memory in turbo R always is secondary mapper ...
The solution of this problem in this MSX2+ is expand memory, with
internal memory mapper ... This 2+ support this ... Other like Sony 2+
does not support this ... Sanyo Wavy support.
