Hi there, >M$ is bad because you can't get much information from it. >Even when your a C++ developer and using MSDN with the SDK's and DDK's. Even the service and help documents suxx, >but (allmost) everyone uses M$ so we must develop for it. Not only that, but (as quite an experienced VB programmer (alas)) I have a lot of troubles with M$ DLLs and OCXs (VB components). Whenever there is a new version of VB, there are lots of compatibility problems. VB6 components are not compatible with VB5 components, which implies that if a VB6 program installs its OCXs, an already installed VB5 application won't work anymore. Grtz Coen **** MSX Mailinglist.
