I've got a CM8833-II, this is originally a CGA-monitor, but has also a
RGB-input (9 pin Sub-D). This input is the one we use for MSX. Not all
CGA-monitors do have this input... and therefore can't be used for MSX
(without extra hardware or modifications!).

There aren't that many MSX-monitors for sale on fairs, so why don't we
develop a (s)VGA-adapter so we can use PC-monitors instead!?
