Nes is an very simple machine (I can't tell that from it's cartridges
and memory
mappers , but the machine itself is pretty simple ...)
There is still games on it that makes me impressed ... An great example
is
Kirby's adventure (Hal Laboratories & Nintendo) It has a lot of animated
backgrounds,
good PSG music and great GFX (Only 16 colors. Also NES video supports
only 4 colors
per 8x8 tile shown.)
BTW : Kirby's Adventure is an 768kb game. It has 512kb Program rom , and
256kb graphics
rom. (Yeah ... NES uses VROM , just like Arcade boards ... But it's
possible to use VRAM also)

I think we should take a look on these pieces of software , in order to
discover why
they achieved such great results on machines weaker than our system ,
and try to implement that
on MSX software , instead of that emul loss of time ... =)

Well ... That's what I think about emulators on MSX ... loss of time ...
But if you want to
go ahead on this I could provide you some txt docs I have about NES
hardware to you.

 Cya MSXers ...
