I 've tried the MSX system clock and the clock runs fine till 2072. after
that it returns to 1973. Problems with programm's I have not encountered.
On PC I have found 1 programm I use for the computer club membership. It was
an application made with Data Perfect and that programm miscalculated the
member fee when this was paid until somewhere in 2000. So even when there is
no Y2K problem in hardware, the software could have a problem. So if you do
programming, you should review your own product to ensure someone who uses
your product will not make you responsible for dammage what so ever because
of the program. If you find a Y2K problem, please contact and inform the
users. Then it is there responsibillity if they want to continue your
products.
