I had the same problem with RETURN and SPACE keys on my Panasonic FS-A1GT.
I fixed both keys by drawing with a current pencil, re-painting the
original tracks and to be exact, the point where the key presses both
layers of the membrane.
It worked on my computer and on the VG8235 of my friend :) So I suppose
it should work on your Sony as well :)
