Can I participate in the discussions in off-line mode? What I mean is:
download everything that is new since I looked for the last time, hangup the
modem, read everything, write reactions and then upload those reactions?


I think you are asking a question you can answer yourself. A UBB based forum
is not a mailbox ;)
