Hi, there is an option for a new MSX without having to adhere to legacy hardware. Look at the Castle Iyonix computer (http://www.iyonix.com). It is a new hardware based RISC PC (XScale, PCI, USB, Gigabit ethernet, etc), which runs RISC OS. For old software (in this case the problem is 26bit versus 32bit), an emulator is used, which runs on the Iyonix. Probably a 'new' MSX (if it ever comes that far) will be like this as well, so the USB cartridge interface is a logical step.
Cheers, Marco (just signed up again, and missed most of this thread anyway) _______________________________________________ MSX mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Info page: http://lists.stack.nl/mailman/listinfo/msx
