Version 1.7.0 of blueMSX is available ! Although it was announced that no new version of the emulator should be released before november 2004, Daniel Vik and his team have decided to release a version with mainly bugfixes and that can be viewed as the required passage to the Turbo-R support in next version.
By implementation of the M1 additionnal waiting states, optimisation of the VDP emulation and retuning of the Z80, VDP and MSX-AUDIO timings, the emulator comes indeed with more accuracy, stability and performance. Just take a look at the scope part of the Unknown Reality demo ! It works now 100% correctly and the updates to support it does not require extra CPU resource. Support for patched disk rom is now replaced in all general and special machines by support of the Panasonic TC8566AF floppy drive controller. It has namely as result that you can now appreciate the Fony Demo Disk 2 ! In the future, other fdc's will also be supported.
