I should recommand to first uninstall the previous installed version AND to delete manually the remaining files in C:\Program Files\blueMSX (or the directory where the previous version is installed).
By default, since many versions, blueMSX uses .ini files in stead of the registry (but the user can select the registry option). It's more secure to use .ini files. Last thing : if the problem happens in the installation phase, then you have maybe downloaded the wrong version. For your computer, only the 'All processors' version can work.
