A word of warning.
The club is also known as MSX Violenceclub Mariënberg, because of a
violent incident where Raymond van Hoorn (ray2day) physically attacked a
fellow member (me) for no rational reason at all. This happened inside
the club house during a club meeting, right under the nose of the club
president who had to pull the guy off of me.
MVM refuses to take any action in the matter, not even having a word
with the attacker or the victim. All moral and legal responsibilities
are ignored.
MSX Vriendenclub Mariënberg has clubmeetings on every second saturday of the
month.

The welcome you get largely depends on how well you fit in with the
strong clique that calls themselves the MVM Hardcore ('harde kern' in
dutch).
New members/visitors are sometimes ignored and ridiculed(!) by these
people. Others, like me, are initially accepted, but after a trivial
difference of opinion with the clique's leader, wholesale ignoring
commences.
For years I've promoted the club and provided everyone with help,
knowledge, and cheap 1chipMSX systems, but none of that seems to matter...
