As a git newbie, I'd like to agree.
I have a tiny (about 400 revisions) Subversion repo I'd like to
convert to git, and currently I'm going the "funny" process of setting
up a virtual machine to run Kubuntu on my Windows XP to be able do the
conversion... "git svn" working on msysGit would definitely be a big
improvement.
