Hello, Autodesk has an open permanent position for a Computation Linguist based in Neuchatel, a charming town in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Located on the shore of the largest Swiss-only lake, Neuchatel is between 1 and 2 hours away from Geneva, Zurich, the Alps... Autodesk, the Californian maker of AutoCAD and other design software, has a fairly large and international office there, which includes a localization technology hub - meaning that we are *not* a translation agency but manage Autodesk's own translation needs.
The focus of this job will be on open-source machine translation (we have used both Moses and Apertium in production for about a year now), and the ideal candidate must have a strong interest in applying the latest developments in language technology to a real-world business context. To find out more and to apply, please go to www.autodesk.com/careers<http://www.autodesk.com/careers> and either search for "Computational Linguist" or enter job code 10000000VX.
