The candidate will focus on cutting edge research into using machine learning (deep learning, graphical models) techniques to solve NLP problems including (but not limited to):
1. Multilingual language processing (Neural machine translation, Cross-lingual methods) 2. Multimodal language processing 3. Discourse & Semantic processing 4. Language generation. 5. Summarisation. The applicant should have a PhD degree at the time of joining. She/he should have excellent interpersonal, writing and research skills, and is expected to publish in top-tier NLP/ML conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, NIPS, and NAACL. Expertise in Tensorflow/Pytorch and Python are required. About the position: Basic yearly salary: 60,000 SGD Yearly bonus: 5,000 - 10,000 SGD Contract tenable for 2 years Maximum annual total includes bonus and 17% CPF About the group: Our work covers all aspects of NLP research, ranging from core NLP tasks to key downstream applications, and new machine learning methods.
