The post is fixed term for 24 months. However, should the candidate
start after 1st February 2022, then the post will have a fixed end
date of 31st January 2024

We are seeking a Research Associate to work with Dr. Nikolaos Aletras
and Prof. Kalina Bontcheva (members of the NLP Group) on developing
novel explainable NLP methods for modelling disinformation diffusion
in social media as part of a larger interdisciplinary project “Social
Explainable Artificial Intelligence” funded by the EPSRC.

The post offers excellent opportunities for publications, project
visits and conference trips. You must have a PhD (or be close to
completion/have equivalent work experience) in NLP or related AI
fields (e.g., Machine Learning, Data Science). You should also have
proven track record with publications in top-tier NLP venues (TACL,
ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, EACL, AACL) and/or related top-tier venues (AAAI,
NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, WWW, ICWSM).
