Looks like you're right. The bore on Goodridge is tighter than the 2.5MM Parker hose. Therfore I think it safe to suggest the insert for the goodridge is a special. As for the Hayes, the caliper end is crimped so I'm going to need a new insert and ferrule. May as well save my pennies and buy some goodies.
