What's emerging is this:
 
5.30 at mine.         Parking nearby and clothes changing

and zipping down to the river.  Gnarliness (street and/or Jesmond Dene) can be 
sampled on the way.
 
                                                Over the Millenmium Bridge (I'm 
trying to figure out a dash onto the Baltic to see the Brian Eno installation 
in 5 minutes)
 
                                                Along the south side of the 
river to Jarrow and the pedestrian tunnel
 
                                                Back to mine from Willington 
Quay
