was up in the lakes riding round ullswater managed to find a nice big puddle to stop front wheel in it's tracks and tried to step of bike (very quickly) (i.e a fall!) and caught shifter on my shorts leg and just ripped it off, it was a sram X7 and theres fuck all holding it on.
think mught try x9 next, bike was Amazing though!

Iwith front sram shifter already broken?
How'd you manage that? I put one of those through to the bone on my knee cap, not a mark on the 'bloody' shifter.
