I need help.
but on a completely unrelated matter, as some may know i'm off to Peru and
chile and Nz for a year and a bit cycle touring.
Now heres the dilemma, which bike to take, now the Glory is getting shipped to
NZ so you can stop worrying about that one, it's the actual cycling bike thats
the problem.
I want a bike thats not too heavy but can take the knocks in Peru and Nz, i was
thinking the Giant XTC

as i can get these for cheap (£250), but the forks are bit shite, so i'm
thinking off upgrading them too Fox's with a lock out.
any body know anywhere i can get a cheap pair?
Or does anybody else have any ideas of a good all rounder that doesn't cost a
fortune, thinking under a grand.
any help appreciated!
