Ben has fixed the Mac installer. You can get it here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=242425&package_id=295238
The Mac download on mudlet.org will be update too. Ben has also release an app-only dmg for those who want to upgrade from earlier versions. Status in Mudlet the MUD client: New Bug description: I am having trouble with Mac Mudlet beta 10 pre 12 on a MacBook Intel core duo running 10.5.7 I downloaded and install Mac Mudlet beta 10 pre 12 from the Mudlet download section of the website from this link: http://www.mudlet.org/download/18/ It did download Mudletv12.dmg successfully and opened the install package. I was able to completely go through and "install" V 12. However, upon opening Mudlet, my program said "Mudlet Beta 10pre8 - build: May-23-2009" at the top. This was also confirmed by the About option. I wondered if it did not properly overwrite pre 8. So, reinstalled Mudlet beta 10 pre 12 to make sure that I selected the right destination (there is only one destination BTW). Nope. It still presents itself as pre 8. So I deleted pre 8 and installed pre 12. The program still suggests it is the pre 8 version. Could it be that pre 12 is improperly labeled? Or that something is failing to install? Or that somehow Mudletv12.dmg really does contain the pre 8 version? _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mudlet-makers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mudlet-makers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
