No - this is a non-obvious and a very big issue. If I selected things in
the main display, then it means I want to copy my selection, not what's in
the input line.

It also doesn't explain why does contrl+c does work most of the time.

Bug description:
  Copying to clipboard won't do anything if you've selected all the way
  up to the last line in the buffer.
