Is it me or has Giggsy's crossing from free kicks and open play been better this season since we've had the "United will miss the service from David Beckham's right boot"? Giggs seems to be taking on the responsibility rather well. What I like about Giggs that in the last 10 years he has been the most naturally gifted in the United squad yet he never neglects his defensive duties. We've all had our moans about Ryan Giggs in the last 10+ years but he is one of those that will be genuinely hard to replace, especially on European nights. If it wasn't for the persistant hamstring injuries which have plagued him, we might have seen a better/consistent Giggs. Saying that, his enforced absences due to hamstring injuries might actually give him a few more years. Touch wood, Giggsy has never had a serious injury (to my knowledge) which needed an operation similar to Keano or Ruud. I still love the way he knocks the ball around a defender as they try to cut across him to tackle him. The way he times that always makes me think - "Cheeky bugger!"
