Scouse Boy, your assessment is not that bad. I think we'll all agree with you that we are not that creative right now and this side, compared to the sides of 1993-99 we play a lot differently. But it is hard to argue when you are grinding out results like we are. Remember in the 1994-95 season we were brilliant up to Cantona's ban, yet still got overturned 4-0 in Barcelona. We have adapted our game since Ruud's arrival to be able to play 1 up front & have a player sitting off him who can go back into midfield to help in defending. Like it or not it has made us less creative, but it hasn't really damaged results?
When you can beat Liverpool at Anfield & not play that well it's hard ot find fault. But in fairness though, your keeper was poor again yesterday.
