While congratulating American Reds for another chance to see our beloved
team, I believe fans in Hong Kong deserve a full-squad visit. United
were there in 97 and 99 but missed quite a few key players each time (97
- Beckham, Gary, Scholes; 99 - Beckham, Scholes, plus Giggs and
Solskjaer who was actually landed the HK airport from Shanghai but
headed straight back to Manchester). The pre-season games in SE Asia in
2001 and in USA this summer was treated with a lot more seriousness.
