I'd love to see my heroes in the flesh back in the Far East but it just does not make
sense. Bearing in mind that 2004 is the European Championships, travelling for a tour
to the Far East will not be ideal preparation for the new season. They'll be knackered
even before the season begins and we all know that with the heat and humididty here,
the players will have their training and preparations affected.

Nope. I'll wait another year, if I have to. The football team comes first.

>While congratulating American Reds for another chance to see our beloved
>team, I believe fans in Hong Kong deserve a full-squad visit. United
>were there in 97 and 99 but missed quite a few key players each time (97
>- Beckham, Gary, Scholes; 99 - Beckham, Scholes, plus Giggs and
>Solskjaer who was actually landed the HK airport from Shanghai but
>headed straight back to Manchester). The pre-season games in SE Asia in
>2001 and in USA this summer was treated with a lot more seriousness.
