I'm not sure I follow. You're saying that calling the Select method
doesn't trigger the SelectChange notify, but that you don't think that's a
bug?

If that's the case, I would respectfully disagree with your assessment,
and I'd like to report the problem as a bug to any developers who may be
reading this.
