I would like to take this opportunity to plug TagLib# as an alternative
for the current metadata parsers. It is written completely in managed
code, it has no external dependencies, it fully supports every metadata
feature that Muine uses (performers, RVA, peak volume, pictures) and
supports as much as possible from each file type (It even supports Flac
1.1.3 embedded pictures), and it can easily be coded to use Gnome VFS
(the development version of Banshee uses it with Gnome VFS).
