Alexander, Our aim for the multitouch and gesture work is to have the underlying support installed by default in the 10.10 environment. The bare minimum needed to make this happen is to promote mtdev and utouch-grail to main from universe, although we hope to get all utouch-* packages into main by 10.10. However, getting mtdev and utouch-grail into main is a dependency of some other work we need to get to.
