The packages were added to the ppa:utouch/utouch repo... > My version of xserver-xorg-input-evtouch is 0.8.8-4fakesync2. We are not using evtouch anymore - are you using maverick? You can get all kinds of problems by replacing the hid module on any other kernel version.
