Kara Susan,
Don't feel bad about not knowing about NASK in San Diego.
This summer Esperanto program has been around for over 30 years. It started
in UC-San Francisco, moved to the East coast for a few years and last year it
came bak to California, to our beautiful city, San Diego!
We have a "Babelfish" to translate complete phrases/paragraphs to and from
Esperanto. It's at _http://lingvo.org/traduku/_ (http://lingvo.org/traduku/)
Like all machine translation, the end result is not perfect. Unfortunately
it's only available in English.
The popular site _http://en.lernu.net_ (http://en.lernu.net) has a word
translator for 30 languages.
The most comprehensive free Esperanto dictionary online, with almost 60
languages, is at:
_http://www.reta-vortaro.de/revo/_ (http://www.reta-vortaro.de/revo/)
BTW, there is a club in San Diego County. We meet every four weeks in La
Mesa.

To find clubs in other cities in the US, go to:
_www.esperanto-usa.org_ (http://www.esperanto-usa.org) and click on "Local
groups"

Dear Ms. Cárdenas -

What a very inclusive list. Sadly - I live in San Diego and never even knew
that UCSD had a summer course.

I will certainly check out the resources you provided. If you can ever get
Babelfish to provide an Esperanto translation - I'm there!!

Regards -

Susan
