I would like to sync a Zaurus, a laptop running evolution, and a deskside and running evolution. All systems are running the current releases and multisync .81.
I first tried to do this by creating a pair between the Zaurus and the laptop. This worked smoothly. There seem to be issues on the Zaurus side maintaining the connection. But aside from that it has been working smoothly.
I next tried to create a pairing between the laptop and the deskside. The deskside was set up as the server. The result was all the contacts on the laptop were erased. (I then removed the laptop - deskside pairings and reloaded the data on the Zaurus - laptop. That pairing is now working.)
1. is this configuration supported?
2. did I do it in the wrong order?
3. is there a different pairing that should be tried?
4. if it is a bug how can I help debug it??
