The Page_Load event of the UserControl is fired after the Page_Load of the UI
containing the control. So what's happening is the Session variable is set/changed
after the Me.Label1.Text = Session("XYZ") code is executed in Page_Load of page1.
Try moving the code in the PreRender event handler of page1.
