Paresh,

Follow these steps:

A) In your COM+ component project,
i) make sure you have done an "Add Reference" to System.EnterpriseServices.
ii) make sure you have using System.EnterpriseServices at the top.
iii) Make sure you derive your class from ServicedComponent.
iv) Now build your component.
v) Create a Strong Name key file.
vi) Place it in all Debug and Release folders.
vii) Put the name of the key file in AssesmblyInfo.cs for the AssemblyKeyFile
attribute.
viii) Build the component again.
ix) Drag-and-drop the component DLL into the GAC.
ix) Run RegSvcs to register the component in COM+.

In your UI project,
i) make sure you have done an "Add Reference" to System.EnterpriseServices.
ii) make sure you have using System.EnterpriseServices at the top.
iii) Add reference to the "Project" of your COM+ component. This is done from the
Projects tab of the "Add Reference" dialog.
iv) Make calls on your component.
v) Build and execute your UI.

Now, after this first time executio runs fine, make some changes to your COM+_
component, build it and then directly run your UI. See if it reflects the changes.

The best way to test this is to just write a small component that returns a string.
Run it once as per the steps above. Then, just change the return "string", build and
run to see if it works fine.

HTH.

Regards,

Ajay Singala.
