----------------------------------------------------------- From: kalpesh Message 7 in Discussion Ajay, Correct me if I am wrong One can use a dataadapter to fill in the dataset (kind of a disconnected recordset) DataAdapter has 4 props like SelectCommand, UpdateCommand, DeleteCommand, UpdateCommand One makes changes in dataset (adding rows, updating rows, deleting rows). While saving this changes back to DB, one calls dataadapter.update which calls InsertCommand, UpdateCommand, DeleteCommand based on the operations you have done on the dataset. Hence, all the operations are called in an order, by way of executing any of the DML statement I feel, I am correct in my understanding.
