I want to use MRU caching mechanism in the application. Does anyone know what mechanism used by the cache objects, httpcachepolicy and System.web.cache object provided by Microsoft .NET. If the said objects work on MRU mechanism, then it will save time to write caching based on MRU. I am aware of Microsoft Application Block for Caching, and also studied the same too. but it has given LruScavenging Mechanism. otherwise i will append the same block with MRU caching type.
