Hi,

Am not too sure I understood your query.
Are you trying to say that you want the column "eno" which is there in the
database to have a different name in the recordset ???
 In that case, u can modify your select query as follows - "select eno as
empno from tablename"

In ADO.NET u have a tablemapping and columnmapping collection which can do
the same thing for you.

Hello Friends,   I m working on vb6   i have used recorset in following way
set rs = con.execute("select * from emp")   now rs("eno") is giving me data
in the eno col of emp table...... but i want name of the different col in
the recordset....   can anybody help me out in this.......   thanks &
