Hi, I am trying to host the .NET Remoting Objects In Windows Service
Application. When i try to start the windows service, it is giving the following error
in the event viewer. "Service cannot be started.
System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException: .Config file Host-Service.exe.config can
not be read successfully due to exception System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The system
cannot find the file specified.
   at System.IConfigHelper.Run(IConfigHandler factory, String fileName)
   at System.ConfigTreeParser.Parse(String fileName, String configPath).
   at
System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingConfigHandler.LoadConfigurationFromXmlFile(String
filename)
   at System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingConfiguration.Configure(String filename)
   at Host_Service.Tomas_Host_Service.OnStart(String[] args)
   at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)" I
found that the file 'Host-Service.exe.config' is already there in the application
folder, i wonder howcome still that error is coming. Can anybody who knows the
solution pls reply. Thanks in advance Sam
