Hi, You can go about transferring data from .CSV file to Database server as follows 1. 
Establish Connection with Source using a connect string as below   SrcConnectString = 
"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=<Folder of .CSV Files>;Extended 
Properties=Text; 2. Execute a query like "Select * FROM " + <.CSV file name> 3. Fill 
up Dataset using the returned records. 4. Establish Connection with Destination i.e. 
SQL Server 5. Enter these records in database.   Hope this helps. Regards, Hemant
