The VB6.0 project uses number of ActiveX controls such as Microsoft Windows Common Control (comctl32.ocx), Microsoft Flexgrid control 6.0 (msflexgrd.ocx) etc. Now using the upgrade wizard I have successfully migrated the project to VB.NET. The VB.NET project runs well where ActiveX controls are not used. But in case of controls such as treeview, MS flex grid, the application crashes. And I get a number of com interop exceptions such as System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A017F): Property is read-only (while adding node to tree) InvalidActiveXStateException Etc.... Now the same controls r working very well with VB6.0 project (on the same machine) Has anyone come across similar problem? Can anyone help me in this regard? This is a very urgent requirement.
