There are two possible ways of doing it, 1. You can all the function directly creating an object and initialising the object. 2. If you want to invoke the function from the child form (an active child form ) you can use the MDIChildren collection in the MDI Form which contains all the active child forms available. Use Ctype and convert that to the type of the child form, and then call the function. Note that for both the solutions you need to have the function declared as public.
