Hi,
Is it the inserting of records that takes time OR
is it the time for parsing xml & putting into some var & then firing insert
statement ?
If it is plainly inserting of records, then use a adodb command object with
pre-compiled sql
Since you must be running the same sql statement with different values 4000
times. This will cause the statement to be parsed, compiled etc & then running
it for all the records
You can save on that time
