Hi , we also faced one problem like this.We came out with the
solution of setting 'timeout' attribute for Authentication block and
Sessionstate block in web.config file. Try with this Sample code
----------------------------- <authentication mode="Forms">
<forms name="ssr" loginUrl="Login.htm" protection="All" timeout="60"
></forms>
</authentication>
<sessionState
mode="InProc"
stateConnectionString="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424"
sqlConnectionString="data source=127.0.0.1;user id=sa;password="
cookieless="false"
timeout="60"
/> This code will maintain a session time for a period of 90 minutes Note
: (The upper limit of session expiration is 525600 minutes (365 days x 24 hours
x 60 min). Another factor which should be considered is authentication of the
user. We create an authentication cookie for a user when the user logs into the
application. Since we are using non-persistent cookies, the default time out
for this cookie is 30 minutes. This can be extended. However it is advisable to
minimize the time duration for better security for the application.)
